  • What makes Flint Physiotherapy different from other PT companies?
    1. We come directly to you in the comfort of your home. 2. We specialize in treating the older adult addressing fall prevention, walking, balance, post-surgical rehab and strength training. 3.   • Do you work with my insurance company?
    We work with traditional Medicare and we accept private pay.
  • Do I need a referral to start physical therapy with Flint Physiotherapy?
    No, you are not required to have a referral. If you will be using insurance, a physician needs to sign off on your plan of care once established.
  • What does it cost?
    If you have traditional Medicare with a supplement insurance plan, typically there is no out of pocket costs for skilled physical therapy care. If you only have traditional Medicare without a secondary plan, you may be responsible for 20%. If you have an insurance plan such as a PPO, you may have out of network benefits that you can seek reimbursement for therapy services after your plan of care has been completed Private pay rates start at $179 each session.   • What areas of the valley do you treat?
    We are currently taking new clients in North Scottsdale and the West Valley. We plan to expand into other parts of the valley soon! Stay tuned!
  • How long is each session?
    Each appointment is approximately 45-60 minutes.
  • What can I expect at my first visit with Flint Physiotherapy?
    Your first visit will last approximately 1 hour. A comprehensive assessment and applicable treatment will be administered by one of our licensed physical therapists. They will be sure that you have a thorough understanding of your injury and limitations. We will also educate you on an effective, efficient and personalized home exercise program to continue progress.
  • What should I have ready for my first visit?
    1. Driver’s License or photo ID 2. Insurance Cards (if using) 3. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely 4. Any exercise equipment that have used in the past or currently use.
  • How many treatment sessions will I get?
    This will be discussed with your therapist on your first physical therapy session as this may fluctuate dependent on your limitations and deficits. A plan of care typically ranges from 4-12 sessions.
  • Can I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)?
    Yes, of course! We also accept payment via cash, check, or card.
