Flint Physiotherapy is looking for a Physical Therapist who genuinely enjoys working with older adults and believes they are capable of much more than simply staying safe. We are a mobile outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in helping older adults become stronger, more mobile, and more independent in their own environment.
Our approach is different from traditional home health. We want our clients appropriately challenged and working toward the things that matter in real life.
We're looking for a PT who
Holds an active Arizona Physical Therapist license
Enjoys working with older adults
Is comfortable treating clients in their homes and senior living communities
Believes strength training should be part of older adult care
Is comfortable appropriately challenging clients rather than automatically limiting them because of age
Communicates well with clients, families and caregivers
Is dependable, personable and able to work independently
Has reliable transportation and is comfortable driving between clients
Experience with geriatrics, balance disorders, fall prevention/recovery, neurological conditions, dementia or strength training is helpful, but finding the right person and mindset is more important to us than checking every box.
About the Company
About Flint Physiotherapy
We believe older adults deserve more than maintenance exercises and being told what they shouldn't do. Our job is to find what they can do, appropriately challenge them, and help them continue doing the things that make life worth living.
If this sounds like the way you want to practice, we'd love to hear from you.
